The Fondation Le Corbusier is a museum dedicated to the architect, painter and sculptor Le Corbusier.

Charles Edouard Jeanneret-Gris was born in Switzerland in October 1887, but always chose to be known by the name of Le Corbusier and has become famous for his contributions of modern architecture.

Le Corbusier became a pioneer in modern design and dedicated a lot of his time to plans for providing better living conditions for the people who lived in crowded cities. He became a French citizen when he was in his 30's and his phenomenal career spanned over 50 years with many of his iconic building designs being constructed throughout the world in places like Europe, India, North America and Russia.
