The Aqueduct is a complex system of procurement, supply and distribution of water to the city of Lisbon in Portugal, its great stone arches over the valley of Alcantara are one of the postcards Lisbon.
The aqueduct was built during the reign of King John V, originating in the rising waters of the Free, in fine, and has been progressively strengthened and expanded throughout the nineteenth century.
