Restaurante A Lanterna

medium

Inserted in Nazare Beach History Center, on the verge of winding road that leaves the Square Sousa Oliveira, the restaurant The Lantern is highly demanded for its specialties: the Cataplanas prepared upon request.
It has a beautiful room decorated with traditional Portuguese motifs, creating a unique and welcoming atmosphere, since the year 1993. This environment, combined with the cordiality with which we received there and its excellence in cooking, takes the Guide du scripts Rotard and Lonely Planet to reference it in their pages dedicated to Portugal.
Shrimp Fried, Tuna Salad, Shrimp Cocktail and the Clams Cataplana constitute the inputs.
There are good Vegetable Soup, the Fish Soup and the Seafood Cream.
In the fish sector, in addition to the much appreciated Cataplana Fish, there is the sea bass, swordfish, salmon, grouper and cod that are served grilled.
In the seafood sector, the proposals of the house go to the Clam traditional Spanish, the Clam Bulhão Duck and tasty Seafood Cataplana.
In the meat sector the menu tells us that there is a Cataplana of meat, the Steak House (sautéed vegetables with cream sauce and mushrooms), the pepper steak, grill to the Empty and always appreciated the Pork Alentejo.
The Sweet House, Sweet Gila, the Encharcada, the Semi-cold and lemon pie, among other delights, are part of the candy this restaurant closet.
It has a good wine list from various regions of the country (Dao, Douro, Alentejo).
It has capacity for 40 people seated.
