Viewpoint located in Flint, historical site in the region. Fishing ground since the twelfth century, and the county seat, the Flint was, then the Alcobaça, the most populated village of the region. The Nazareth as we know it today is of relatively recent origin, because, even in the seventeenth century the sea came crashing into the foothills of the Flint. With the retreat of the sea, the fishermen went down to areas of lower altitude, in what is now the village of Nazareth.
