The Teide North tour is simply as breathtaking as it is demanding. The tour starts by taking in the ‘Wiggins’ climb, made famous by Bradley Wiggins, towards Mount Teide. The views of Spain’s highest peak from the northern approach are simply spectacular! You will ride above the clouds, often at altitudes of over 2000 metres, and view both the East and West Coasts of Tenerife.

A picturesque trip from the north to the south, along the east coast of Tenerife, is a tour not to be missed!
You will pass through Canarian towns, as well as various Barrancos (ravines) that personify this ride. The climbing, although not sustained, is deceptively challenging. You will be rewarded for your efforts by incredible views of neighbouring Gran Canaria!

1) ESPERANZA FOREST RIDE (Tuesdays)
This tour takes you over small forestal tracks trough the Esperanza forest with spectacular views towards both the north and the south side of the island. The tour is around 40km, with 800 height meters, a perfect ride for a medium level cross country rider. Views towards the volcano and the smell of the eucalyptus trees are included.

2) VILLAFLOR XC (Wednesdays)
A recreational guided MTB cross country tour. This is a great opportunity for people in search of a relaxed sportive ride in combination with some stunning views towards Grand Canaria and the volcano. This is an easy to medium level ride on wider off road paths. The tour is 25km and has 400 vertical height meters on easy climbs.

Tour Difficulty: easy to medium level, recreational mtb.

3) CHIO MTB XC TOUR
This tour starts on the East side of the island, in the surroundings of the small village of Chio. Rides will be on fire tracks, going trough a volcanic landscape and forest. This tour offers some amazing views towards el Teide and the Eastern Islands La Gomera, El Hierro and on a clear day even La Palma. 800htm. on a 40km round. At the highest point are through the natural area of Arenas negras. The contrast between fresh green pines, blue sky and dark lava sand is just amazing!
