The Nordiska museet or the Nordic Museum inside has a collection of all things Swedish, from Sami folklore to eclectic exhibitions of Swedish fashion, shoes, interiors and even table settings.

Dedicated to the cultural history and ethnography of Sweden from the Early Modern age until the contemporary period.

Founded in the late 19th century this museum owns the largest collection of paintings by August Strindberg.
