Finland is located in the Northern Europe and has over 5 million inhabitants. The country has borders with Norway to the north, Sweden to the west and Russia to the east and along its southern coast is the Gulf of Finland.
Finland is a very modern country, with well-designed and comfortable small towns and cities, but still has to offer huge areas of undamaged nature. Finland has close to 188.000 lakes and a similar number of islands.
Because of the extreme latitude, Finland experiences the legendary Midnight Sun near the summer solstice, and in winter, the Arctic Night, when the sun never comes up at all in the North.
