Palacio de Carta

for free

It was perhaps the best known place of Santa Cruz during the XVIII century. It is located in the Plaza de La Candelaria, it was ordered to be built in 1721 by Matías Rodríguez Carta, being finished in 1752. Inside, it has two courtyards of traditional Canarian style. It was the headquarters and, later, main office of a bank. It is the first building considered as Property of Cultural Interest of Santa Cruz and one of the first of Canary Islands.
