You will come across incredible landscapes that make you aware of an astonishing natural world.

The east and west coasts offer some very good diving, specifically from Los Gigantes. One of the dives is Sting Ray City where you to descend to 18 metres and feed the rays with fish heads etc. The size of the rays can be up to 4 metres (12 feet) - a great experience. Near Masca, which is for advanced divers, at 47 metres down there is a large cave with black corals, white bearded antheas, large morays and very good light and visibility.

There is a diving site at Playa de las Americas/Los Cristianos. El Meridian is an old yacht measuring approx. 56 feet. It was deliberately sunk in the autumn of 2005 as a dive site to a depth of 30 meters on a sandy sea bed next to a rocky reef. Then there is the Cueva de Palm Mar. This is a 40 metre dive for advanced divers with good visibility. Descending to 16 meters you swim off the edge of a cliff down to a cave entrance at 30 metres. There are Mediterranean moray, brown moray and the tiger moray. The cave itself is a Tenerife mystery as nobody knows exactly how long the interior tunnel actually is or where it leads. Several divers have died exploring this cave system and there is a memorial cross outside the cave. The deepest part of this dive is at 40 meters.

Further along the coast to Santa Cruz de Tenerife there is some good diving. One of the wrecks is the The Condesito which lies 3km from Las Galletas harbour. The Condesito sits in a neat little under water gully. The hull, cabin and engine room are still intact and teeming with fish including Trumpet Fish, Boxfish, Moray Eels, Indigo Damsel Fish, Octopus and slate blue Sting Rays.

There is some diving on the north coast out of Puerto de la Cruz, but nothing of any particular interest
