KITESURF CLASSES & COURSES

Courses run for 3 days, with 3 hours of instruction per day.

DAY 1
For the first few hours practice is on the beach with learner kites. Safety rules are taught, as well as how to launch and land the kite. Once student is able to operate and control the bar, he will switch to a conventional kite. The school always use current year equipment and change the length of the lines according to student's progress.

DAY 2
Student should now be ready to practice the body drag in the water with the instructor. With the use of walkie talkies instructors will take them up wind to practice.

Day 3
Waterstart is practiced.
Students will get up on the board safely and quickly, so they can have fun from the start. By the end of the 9 hour course, they will have sufficient knowledge and skill to kiteboard on their own and develop their skills.

INSTRUCTORS
Instructors are IKO and FEV certified. They speak English, German, Italian and Spanish so that students can receive instructions in your language.


KITES
First class reliable modern equipment, with a huge selection of kites to ensure correct size kite for the conditions on the day.
As introduction to land based kite flying Flysurfer Viron kites are used. Later on, Cabrinha Switchblade kites are introduced.

KITE LINES
The length of the lines of the kite bar is gradually increased. This will enable to have more control and safety at the beginning and more power as learning progress.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT
All equipment is included in the course price, flotation vests, wetsuits, helemts, harness and leash.



SURF SCHOOL


IN THE BAY
Lessons are for 2 hours with a maximum of 4 students per instructor. Foam boards are used, which are easy to stand on and protect against bumps.
Classes are ideal for beginners and children.

SAFARI
Lessons take place in the location that has the most suitable waves for a student's level, whether that be beginner, intermediate or advanced.
Classes run for 3.5 hours and are limited to small groups of 4 people to maximise learning ability.
A GOPRO 2 camera is attached to the end ofthe board to take pictures every 2 seconds and so capture the moment the first wave is caught.
All material is included (surfboard, wetsuit leash and transportation).
