Hong Kong Maritime Museum is a nonprofit educational institution. Reopened to the public in February 2013, sets out the contribution of the West in the history of the development of boats, ships, maritime exploration and trade and naval warfare.

Although it focuses on the coast of South China and its seas, also includes world influences and highlights the development of Hong Kong as a maritime center.
