The Gandhi Smriti basic aim a is to show the life, mission and thought of Mahatma Gandhi through various socio-educational and cultural programmes.


This place is where Mahatma Gandhi used to stay during his visits to Delhi and where he was shot dead by a Hindu zealot on 30 January 1948.
