Hi everyone!! This tour covers part of Funchal city centre. We all meet at the Sé Cathedral, one of Madeira's cultural and religious icones. Over 500 years old, the edification was influenced by the Manuelino era, and has beautiful high relief and paintings creating a unique atmosphere. After leaving the shrine we're off for a brunch at the Loja do Chá Tea house, where we can rest a bit and savour one of over two hundred different teas. They also have great home-made scones and jam, so it will definitely be a treat!! After our deserved rest...we´re off to the beach front, where we can take a glimpse of the harbor and windsailing activity. Movin in east direction we encounter the cable cars and a park. Good spot to sit and relax before lunch at O Jango. A great spot especially if you´re keen on fish meals, from scabbard and banana to lobster and prawns.After that a stroll through the old town, because there is much to see. From painted doors, art galleries and live music. Enjoy!!
