Hi everyone! This tour all starts in one of Madeiras' iconic visiting spots, Monte. After breakfast at the café in Montes´ central square we´re off to visit a collection of amazing gardens, from Quinta do Monte, Monte Palace Tropical and Jardins do Imperador. In between these visits we´ll have lunch at a local restaurant near the cable car station. After leaving Jardins do Imperador we´re off downtown to Jardim Santa Luzia, which before being a garden, was a Hinton sugar and liquor factory. Of the old factory only the chimney remains for posterity to remind of this site’s influential role in Madeira’s sugar industry past. It´s been a long day and obviously nobody wants to cook... so for a relaxed and calm evening let's all dine at Ratatouille. It´s an incredible italian restaurant, many times rated nº. 1 in Tripadvisor, that serves not only italian pasta and pizza but also madeiran dishes.
