Medellin Metrocable

It is an unmissable tour , the view is incredible and render wonderful pictures! Can you have an ideas of how the residents of the most remote places , had locomotion problem for the Medellin Center. It works perfectly at a very low cost , passage of Metro + metrocable 1900 pesos = 1 pound , passes over the city's hills and you see the reality of the city. Metro de Medellí­n currently offers 3 lines with Metrocable technology:

Line K spans 2 kilometers (~1.2 miles) in the northeastern part of Medellí­n. It connects with the rest of the Metro system at Acevedo station; customers may transfer here without paying an additional amount. Line K stations include Andalucí­a, Popular, and Santo Domingo, where cable cars connect back to Metro lines.

Line J spans 2.9 kilometers (~1.8 miles) in the western part of Medellí­n. It connects with the rest of the Metro system at the San Javier station; customers may transfer here without paying an additional amount. Line J stations include Juan XXIII, Vallejuelos, and La Aurora, where cable cars are redirected towards the Metro lines.

Line L spans 4.6 kilometers (~2.9 miles) between the Santo Domingo transfer station and El Tambo district, where you will find the second and final station on this line. This is Metro’s first tourist line, which will commence operations with 27 cable cars. These works will have a positive influence on the Santa Elena area and some neighborhoods of Comuna 1, such as Santo Domingo Savio, La Esperanza, and La Avanzada.
