Mumbai’s elephant festival

The Ganeshotsav or Elephant Festival is the celebration of the birth of Ganecha, the elephant god.
Starting on September 9, people travel from all over India and the world to see this spectacle of rare beauty, regardless of their religion or spiritual guidance.
Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal is the epicenter of the festival, where a statue of Ganesha and according to Hindu tradition usually fulfill the desires there requests.
