ORIENTATION
The city is located on mountainous soil, over two hills and 10 kilometres (6 mi) inland from the Mediterranean shore. Montpellier is also 168 kilometres (104 mi) away from Marseille and 52 kilometres (32 mi) from Nîmes. The Place du Peyrou (57 m) is Montpellier's highest point.

HOW TO GET THERE
Montpellier Méditerranée Airport, is outside the city centre and has a bus transfer service every 10 minutes and taking around 20 minutes.
A taxi run to the city costs around € 20 and takes 15 minutes.
