Perhaps the most beautiful place for large exhibitions in Berlin's Martin-Gropius-Bau.
Built in 1877, After the ruin stood empty for decades, the Martin-Gropius-Bau is used for changing and often very successful exhibitions since 1981. Impressive is the central atrium that extends over the entire height of the house.
Compared to the construction of the Parliament of Berlin is located (the House of Representatives, former Prussian state parliament). The Topography of Terror exhibition on the outdoor area reminiscent of the dark past of the Barrens: In addition to the Gropius-Bau was once the headquarters of the Gestapo.
