La Caseta del Migdia - Mirador del Migdia - is an bar on Montjuic hill Barcelona. This outdoor bar on the edge of Montjuic hill's south side with views of the sea to the south of Barcleona. this is a magical space, scattered with deckchairs, hammocks and candlelit tables.
Rather surreally, DJs spinning funk, rare groove and lounge alternate with a faltering string quartet; food is grilled sausages and salad, plus a few rice dishes. To find it, follow the Camí del Mar footpath south around the castle, and be aware it's a lot cooler up here than in town.
