ORIENTATION

Antalya is located on the southern Turkey, in the shores of the Mediterranean coast. This region has over 700 km of coast, beautiful harbours, and small towns.

The principal Antalya's historic buildings are located along the narrow streets of the old quarter - Kaleiçi.

BEST TIME TO GO

This heaven has a perfect weather all though the year. The months between June and October have amazing air and water temperatures.

HOW TO GET THERE

The Antalya Airport is located 10 km from the city centre, and is served essentially by charter flights. You will need to take a taxi or private transportation to your destination as there aren’t buses or minibus connecting the airport to the city.

TRAVELLING AROUND

Antalya offers a variety of public transportation, such as public buses, trams, mini-buses, taxicabs and dolmus.

Dolmus, the minibuses, depart when they are full (8 persons) and stop where you ask them to. These are the cheapest form of transport.

In Antalya, the public bus system is the best system to travel around. The buses leave at the bus station in the centre of Antalya.

Tramway is quite useful for tourists because it goes through the principal attractions. It is a single line with 2 different trams, one running in each direction. They leave every 30 minutes and operating between Museum (Antalya Museum) and Zerdalilik directions.
