Casa Agrícola

10-25 €

O Casa Agrícola is a rare testimony of the rural identity of Porto. Dating back to the eighteenth century, was built by a merchant of St. Dominic Street, Antonio d'Almeida Saraiva, who like other wealthy, chose to settle in the then outskirts of the city, protecting from the hustle and bustle of downtown.

Today, the House (and its chapel) is what remains of the Fifth of Our Lady of Good Success. The story goes that this extensive fifth extended from the current Rua do Campo Alegre to the vicinity of the cemetery of Agramonte. It was one of the most important of the time and you can not afford pilgrims in search of "good success" of the saint.

In this House, the future is made like this: history.
It works as restaurant and bar.
