The former Pasadena Art Institute and the Pasadena Art Museum is now called Norton Simon Museum.

The Norton Simon Museum has one of the most remarkable private art collections ever collected, gathering more than 11,000 objects by Norton Simon.

This collection features European art from the Renaissance to the 20th century and a stellar collection of South and Southeast Asian art spanning 2,000 years.

The pieces can be divided by five sections: Asian art, European art: 14th-16th centuries, European art: 19th century, Modern art, Contemporary art and Sculpture.
