One of the two oldest buildings still standing in South Australia, Adelaide Gaol was an Australian prison located in Thebarton in South Australia.

This prision was the first permanent one in South Australia and was functioning from 1841 to 1988.

The prison is now a museum, tourist attraction and function centre, well known for the paronormal night tours.
