Some 70 km to the east of Sucre lies Tarabuco. The village itself is one enormous market for (mainly) textiles . If you're looking for really high quality handicrafts, this is the place to go! You can take a tourist bus from the main plaza in the city of Sucre starting 8:30 am , costs 35 Bolivian . It is cheaper to take local bus from the center , and then transfer the historic area out to Tarabuco .
