Porto Tram City Tour

The Porto Tram City Tour takes place aboard a centenarian tram, carefully restored according to the original model.
The century-old trams 203 and 222, run through the historic center of turistic Porto downtown a circuit to enjoy the most emblematic monuments of the city Invicta as the Palacio da Bolsa, the Value Chain, The Tower of the Clerics, the churches of various styles, museums, theaters and picturesque historic cafes.
These old trams run throughout the year, in an open system (Hop-on/Hop-off) may come and go as many times as you understand, at stops along the route during the period of validity of the ticket.
The whole route takes about 2 hours and is accompanied by a digital sound system in 8 languages: Portuguese, Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Dutch and Japanese.
The ticket allows a visit to the Tramcar Museum.
Infante is the start point of the circuit but you can jump in and out at any sight point signaled in the circuit map.

Beyond this tourist tram, there are three regular tram lines:
Line 1: Infante - (Massarelos) - Passeio Alegre: it is the marginal route of Douro´s river. (23 min)
Line 18: Massarelos-Carmo: it connects Massarelos (Tramcar Museum) and Carmo (Leões Square and Porto University Rectory) (10 min)
Line 22: Carmo-Batalha round: it connects Carmo and Batalha (Funicular station). (28 min)
For these three lines you only need to recharge the Andante Ticket with "Z2". It costs €1,00 and it is valid for one hour. The Andante Blue Ticket costs €0,50 and it is rechargeable.
