Dalt Vila are the remains of an old fortress that used to be located in what is now Ibiza town. Dalt Vila actually means high town, and if you are town at the level of the Ibiza port looking up you will understand why. You can take in the incredible fortress walls, the castle, cathedral and a monastery. The whole area was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999, and it certainly is an imposing feat of architecture.
When you scale Dalt Vila, and look down the view is equally breathtaking. You find yourself looking down on Eivissa Town, and across the bay.
