The Ethnographic Museum is focused researching, disseminating and preserving the historical and anthropological heritage mostly from northwestern Argentina and Patagonia.

Established in 1904, this museum also features objects include the indigenous societies of North America, African carvings, a major set pieces and some eastern Oceania. In the next room, crossing the wide atrium, the Library keeps valuable information regarding these topics. It is open from Tuesday to Friday afternoon.

A must see is the Andean pre-Columbian ceramics and fabrics.
