FULL DAY ROUTE ITINERARY: On the southern part of the continent where geography breaks down into countless islands, you can navigate towards Chiloé, an island which ripe with myths, culture, history and nature. During the ferry ride, dolphins, sea lions and a variety of sea birds can often be observed. Once in Chiloé you can visit a tiny fishing village where you will be able to watch a wide variety of birds, oyster farming, seaweed harvest and the colorful wooden houses of this place. A simple but very scenic road will take you to Ancud, the second largest city on the island and where the history of it becomes alive at the Spanish Fortress San Antonio, which still dominates the port and the whole bay. Next you can continue on towards the nice Penguin colony, to take a ride on a motor-boat and have an exciting navigation very close to a few islets at the northwest side of the Chiloé island, where two species of penguin are living together. After the agitation of the city Puerto Montt, Chiloé also provides the opportunity to enjoy peace and serenity in perfect harmony with fjords, canals and green nature by simple crossing a sea channel. Chiloé offer a unique experience of their marvels to those who visit them. The island of Chiloé is the continuation of the coastal mountain range interrupted by the Chacao Channel. Around it there are numerous islands who gave origin to people whose history emerged from its mytholgy, traditions, the exhuberant nature of its surroundings and the cordiality of its inhabitants.
