Fiji is a Melanesian country in the South Pacific Ocean formed by over 300 volcanic and coral islands.

The most important islands are Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and Kandavu. Savu, the capital city is located on the Viti Levu Island.

BEST TIME TO GO

 

Fiji has a tropical marine weather, with little temperature variation. Tropical cyclonic storms can happen between November and April. The best time to visit is probably from May to October, with average temperatures of 33ºC.

 

HOW TO GET THERE

 

Main Airports

Nadi is 8km (5 miles) is located north of Nadi town on Viti Levu Island. There are taxis and buses available to the centre.

 

Suva is located at Nausori, 16km (9 miles) from Suva. From the airport to the centre you can take a taxis or rent-a-car.
