Rajasthan is a large state in the north-western India, bordering Pakistan to the west and extending almost to Delhi.
Most of its territory is arid, and its capital city is Jaipur.
The major attraction of the state of Rajasthan lies in the palatial forts and palaces of the state. The lake palaces of Udaipur and Jaisalmer Fort are one such bright example which is reckoned world over as the magnificent attractions of India. Besides the forts and the palaces there are some very famous fairs held across Rajasthan for which it is also known for.
A must not miss is the Pushkar fair- a mega mart of Camel trading probably the biggest in Asia. The camel safari and the cultural programs organised by the locals should not be missed by the tourists at all. Palace on wheels is yet another fabulous exposition that will truly cast a spell on everybody.
