The town of Bastia is windy but very sunny all year. The best time to go would be between spring and autumn.
HOW TO GET THERE
The Bastia Poretta airport (http://www.bastia.aeroport.fr) is located 20 km south of the centre, and to get there you can take a taxi for about 40 Euros in 25 minutes.
There is also a bus running from the airport, every hour and costing Euro 8.
TRAVELLING AROUND
