The Brugghúsbar is a small but cosy bar in the center of town. It main focus is on beer, made locally by the Brewery Kaldi. The bar also serves strong alcohol, coffee and soda.

The Brewery Kaldi produces 5 types of beer, first they made a light beer then a dark one and since then three new types have emerged: Lite, Norðan Kaldi and Stinnings Kaldi. In addition they produce seasonal beer: Jólakaldi, Þorrakaldi og Páskakaldi.
