The presentation of the Berardo Collection Museum offers an overview, a panorama of the creation of plastic arts in the twentieth century and the beginning of the XXI century, particularly in European and American art. Reflecting all the richness of the history, styles, origins mediums and techniques of the works from the collection, and provides a journey through the modern and contemporary Portuguese artistic creation, focusing on its originality and the place it occupies on the international scene.

The Berardo Collection Museum offers visitors not only the richness of its permanent collection through a route regularly renewed, but also a wide range of temporary exhibitions that allow a broadening of the scope of the collection and deepen certain problematic topics or approaches.

The Museu de Marinha lies in the Praça do Império, at Belém and occupies the north and west wings of the Jerónimos monastery.
