Althoug the main focus of restaurant is steaks, the menu also offers a wide selection of seafood and of course, the very tender Icelandic lamb. The Icelandic lamb is almost organic by nature as they are not fed grain or given any hormones as they roam free in the wilderness of Iceland. The Icelandic lamb is considered a gourmet meat that has fine grain and a distinct, wild taste.

The flagship stand has been in continuous operation since 1937 and sits across from the Harpa Concert Hall. There are also three additional locations in the city.
It is believed that a majority of Icelanders have eaten at B�jarins beztu. Foreign visitors are often brought to the original stand by locals eager to have them try the hot dogs, which are often called "The Icelandic National Food."

Coffee is around 300ISK and sandwiches between 800ISK and 1300ISK. Everything is very good and the service is very good. It is only a short walk from the a church.Very baby friendly as well, cakes are great as well.

Fiskmarkadurinn (Fish Market) is a top quality seafood restaurant. Fish Market strives to provide original fish, meat and sweet dishes with a an asian influence, using only Iceland's freshest ingredients. They buy their produce directly from farmers and fishermen, guaranteeing sustainability and a top-quality culinary experience for the customer.

The Raw Bar, where diners can watch the chefs create excotic dishes while indulging in delicious sushi and sashimi, is located on the floor below the dining area. The regular menu is also available at the Raw Bar. The Robata Grill is Fish Market's specialty, as it is the only robata grill in Iceland. They use high quality Japanese charcoal that produces 1,200°C heat without smoke, which is double the heat of normal charcoal. The food on the Robata grill is quick fried, so it does not produce fumes or smoke. It sears in the juices and flavours while keeping the fish or meat tender.

The bar offers a wide selection of cocktails, champagne, sake and wines, and they only use premium spirits, fresh ingredients and the highet quality products for their cocktails. Making reservations for dinner at Fish Market is recommended, but you don't have to make a reservation to enjoy the bar. You can drop by there any time, sip yummy cocktails and sample small dishes from the menu.

The subs are toasted on a grill as is most of their juicy load. The sub is then topped off with a wide selection of condiments. Wrapped in greaseproof paper and you’re good to go. The choices of toppings and condiments are extensive. There are set menu subs as well as custom combos.

The prices are fair for the town and the quality of the food is fantastic.The menu is fairly extensive. They made a very good breakfast. Good solid American style breakfasts and burgers. Burgers are very good - thick and tasty and the breakfasts are incredibly satisfying. Bruce Willis shake is recommended.

Good seafood speaks for itself with basic preparation. This place doesn't have a menu. They just have cuts of fish available to view. Point to the one you want, and they will cook it for you. It is a low-cost option for seafood in an otherwise extremely expensive city! Highly recommended if you just want to get yourself some seafood! Not recommended for a quiet date or fine dining.

UNO is the new italian kitchen in downtown Reykjavik and it is already cooking up a storm! UNO has captured the essence of fresh, stylish italian cooking and blended it beautifully with Iceland‘s finest seasonal ingredients. The result is a menu which oozes flavour, colour and originality.
Fresh Pasta of the day is always guided by the Head Chef, Gu�mundur Melberg and bread and pasta specialist, Nino.
The menu is as wide as it is delicious.

The menu is extensive (about 10 mains, 15 pizzas, 8 sandwiches/burgers, 4 pastas, etc) and focused on local ingredients (lamb, seafood, fish). For the style of restaurant, the food is reasonably priced for Reykjavik (my lobster pasta was ISK2500, friends' lobster pizza ISK2000, beer was ISK750/pint).
