The Jardim de Santa Luzia is a public garden within the city of Funchal. It has an area of 17,000 square meters and was once the location of the Hinton factory (Sugar Industry of Madeira) of which there remains only the old chimney. This park was tansformado into five beautiful gardens with plenty of green space, tropical plants and trees of the laurel forest. It also has a playground and cafe with terrace.
