The church was built in the second half of the 16th century, having undergone several changes during the 18th century. The frontispiece was then rebuilt according to the project of the famous architect Nicolau Nasoni and reflects the Rococo influence. In the interior, the main chapel, from the original cinquecentist building, is of great interest. You can also have a look, in the sacristy, to the tile from the 17th century.
