Founded in the first half of the XVth century. Later a beautiful Renaissance portal was added.

This church underwent a number of changes in the XVIIIth century at which time all the whole interior was lined with carved and gilt woodwork.

This is considered one of the most important examples of the Oporto School of Wood Carvers.
