Lenin's Mausoleum or Lenin's Tomb is located in the Red Square in the center of Moscow, is the mausoleum that serves as the current resting place of Vladimir Lenin.

His embalmed body has been on public display there since shortly after his death in 1924 (with rare exceptions in wartime).

Besides his wish to rest close to his mother, Lenin still lies in state at the foot of the Kremlin wall, receiving visitors who come to pay their respects to the founder of the Soviet Union.
