Basic Conditions to take kite lessons are 1) to know how to swim and 2) to have no fear of water.
There is no need to be strong physically to practice kite, because it is a sport of technique and coordination.
In the courses offered, 30nudos use the most modern and adequate equipment to provide maximum security with modern kites, flotation vests, helmets and all the equipments in perfect condition, in order to minimize the risk for any incident.
To ensure a higher quality of the courses, there will be a maximum of two students per instructor.
Anyone from 9 - 10 years old can take a kite course.


COURSE STRUCTURE

The course has a duration of 9 hours divided into three levels. One per day if time allows.
The structure and content of the course may vary depending on the progress and abilities of students.

KITESURF
There is a team of strongly experienced instructors certified by the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation and IKO. In addition, they use leading edge equipment in order to guarantee quality and safe learning. The learning method includes waterproof handheld transceiver allowing pupils and instructors to stay in close contact during entire lesson, thus maximizing progression. The facilities are equipped with lockers and showers as well as a sitting area where you can relax after an intense water session.

Take an individual lesson and get the most out of your instructor. If you are on a budget create your own group with some friends and get a discount. Instructors speak English, German, Italian, French and Spanish.

BEGINNER COURSE
3 DAYS ( 9 HOURS ) - 3 Hours/ Day
If you want to take part in a complete beginner's course this is your best choice, this course consist of three hour sessions during three days. You will be taught the first steps in this exciting sport. Full beginner's course contents:

- Choosing and setting equipment
- Take off and landing
- Kite control
- Bodydrag
- Waterstart
- Initiation to slide

BASICS (3h): This phase takes place on land; you will get a short introduction to concepts like wind window, basic safety and kite handling. Furthermore you will learn how to set the equipment, choose practice area and kite size according to wind conditions.

WATERWORK (3h): This phase focuses on "body drag" exercises performed on the water. Exercises in this phase are learned first on the sand and then performed on the water. Main goal is to get a good kite control on the water, experience kite power and introduce courses (Broad reach, Beam reach and Close hauled).

BOARDWORK (3h): This phase focuses on the board. Main goal is introducing pupils to "water start" and sliding. Firstly you practice "body drag" holding the board, how to put the board on and maintaining the right position prior to "water start". Finally you will practice the "water start" to get standing on the board and start sliding.

This tour takes you over small forestal tracks trough the Esperanza forest with spectacular views towards both the north and the south side of the island. A recreational guided MTB cross country tour. This is a great opportunity for people in search of a relaxed sportive ride in combination with some stunning views towards Grand Canaria and the volcano. This is an easy to medium level ride on wider off road paths. The tour is 25km and has 400 vertical height meters on easy climbs.

3) CHIO MTB XC TOUR
This tour starts on the East side of the island, in the surroundings of the small village of Chio. Rides will be on fire tracks, going trough a volcanic landscape and forest. This tour offers some amazing views towards el Teide and the Eastern Islands La Gomera, El Hierro and on a clear day even La Palma. 800htm. on a 40km round. At the highest point are through the natural area of Arenas negras. The contrast between fresh green pines, blue sky and dark lava sand is just amazing!

This tour takes you over small forestal tracks trough the Esperanza forest with spectacular views towards both the north and the south side of the island. The tour is around 40km, with 800 height meters, a perfect ride for a medium level cross country rider. Views towards the volcano and the smell of the eucalyptus trees are included.

A recreational guided MTB cross country tour. After a snack and a drink, Flipper Uno will leave the harbour of Los Gigantes to look for the dolphins and/or whales. They guarantee that you will see one or the other with the Flipper Uno. After you have enjoyed the dolphins and/or the whales, we will set sail along the cliffs of Los Gigantes and Masca. These are one of the highest cliffs in the world, with peaks of almost 600 meters. In one of the beautiful bays with its sparkling clear water, you have time for a swim.

Going into the water is easy down the steps or spectacularly swinging from our trapeze. After your swim a lovely lunch will be served: paella based on chicken breast and vegetables, bread, fruit. Red wine, beer, cola, fanta and water are available to drink. During the excursion all drinks are included in the price.

There is an official guide on board who will explain everything in your own language. After sailing 3 hours, the vessel will be back in the harbour of Los Gigantes.

1-HOUR DISCOVER SAFARI
After a brief introductory talk at the quayside in Los Gigantes Harbour, you’ll put on your life jacket and wetsuit and set out on your one hour Tenerife jetski safari. Following your instructor, you’ll be passing some of the awe inspiring cliffs of Los Gigantes towering above you. This is probably the best way to appreciate the beauty of the natural park.
The first stop you’ll make is at Masca bay. Masca is a perfect spot to swim, so you’ll spend a little time snorkeling… not too long though, because the next part of your Tenerife Jetski Safari is probably the most thrilling.
Your Instructor will lead you a couple of miles out to sea, and its time to test yourself and your Seadoo 900 GTI to the limits! Your adrenalin will soar as you try some freestyle jetskiing and jump from waves and speed through the ocean.
All too soon, it is time to return to the harbour. You may see some flying fish on the way back, a species indigenous to the natural park.

You’ll start off by getting comfortable in your wet suit and life jacket and listening to the safety briefing by your instructor, making sure you’re ready for the ride of your life! As you get on your brand new Seadoo 900 GTI, you’ll already feel the power of it, and as you follow your instructor out of the harbour, you’ll already be starting to gain confidence.
In just a few minutes, you’ll be passing by the awe inspiring cliffs, of Los Gigantes, the highest in Europe. The Chill Out runs during the summer months and is designed as an adults only cruise. MustCat set sail at 6 pm and hug the coast from Las Galletas harbor to the cliffs of Pal Mar. On arrival guests are invited to swim in the crystal clear waters where the sea temperature is warmer then the air temperature. Whilst you swim or relax onboard, the crew prepare a delicious BBQ of grilled fish and meats with various mouth watering salads. KITESURF CLASSES & COURSES

Courses run for 3 days, with 3 hours of instruction per day.

DAY 1
For the first few hours practice is on the beach with learner kites. Safety rules are taught, as well as how to launch and land the kite. Once student is able to operate and control the bar, he will switch to a conventional kite. The school always use current year equipment and change the length of the lines according to student's progress.

DAY 2
Student should now be ready to practice the body drag in the water with the instructor. With the use of walkie talkies instructors will take them up wind to practice.

Day 3
Waterstart is practiced.
Students will get up on the board safely and quickly, so they can have fun from the start. By the end of the 9 hour course, they will have sufficient knowledge and skill to kiteboard on their own and develop their skills.

First class reliable modern equipment, with a huge selection of kites to ensure correct size kite for the conditions on the day.
As introduction to land based kite flying Flysurfer Viron kites are used. Later on, Cabrinha Switchblade kites are introduced.

KITE LINES
The length of the lines of the kite bar is gradually increased. This will enable to have more control and safety at the beginning and more power as learning progress.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT
All equipment is included in the course price, flotation vests, wetsuits, helemts, harness and leash.

SAFARI

A GOPRO 2 camera is attached to the end ofthe board to take pictures every 2 seconds and so capture the moment the first wave is caught.

The boat has a well trained guide and crew, who will be at your disposal all the time. The guide on board will give you all the information about the sea life, conservation and respect of the environment.

The boat has capacity for 222 passengers. On the main deck, with capacity for 109 passengers, you will be able to enjoy a luxurious inside smartly decorated in art-deco style. It has bar, dance floor, souvenirs shop and services. The outside, with capacity for 113 passengers, has seats where you will be able to take place to enjoy the sun, the nice marine breeze and the spectacular views of the Southern coast.
Morever, there are two air-conditioned compartments under sea level and nine panoramic windows with capacity of 26 passengers each one. IZAÑA NATIONAL PARK
The flight from Izaña with the Teide national park as starting point on 2.200m. As the take off is on 2.200m, a flight of 30 or 45 minutes above the Orotava-Valley, the municipality of Los Realejos and the touristic city Puerto de la Cruz are garanteed. The view is too impressive to miss it. It is also possible to turn from Izaña in the direction of the southern mountain side. There you will fly over the valley of Güimar, the municipality of Güimar, Arafo and Candelaria to finally land on the coastal beaches Puertito de Güimar or Las Caletillas. Another unique show of volcanic scenery. In the south of Tenerife there are also great flight areas that will lead to a impressive sight from the mountain tops over the sandy beaches of Los Cristianos, Playa de las Américas and Fañabe and the beautiful surrounding countryside.
