Go on a journey back in time through 1,200 years of Bremen history. A park surrounds the main building, the four historical houses and the display room.

Bremen's state museum of art and cultural history, the Focke Museum offers a rewarding insight into 1,200 years of Bremen history.

The complex comprises the modern main building, the innovative display room for the residual collection and four historical buildings set in extensive gardens. Somewhat further afield is the Mühle Oberneuland windmill, which is also part of the museum.

In addition to the permanent exhibitions, the Focke Museum hosts a number of attractive temporary shows every year. It also provides a full programme of events for all ages, from talks and readings to themed guided tours and museum education events. Every summer, the Focke's Pavilion concert series draws large audiences to the museum gardens.

Catalogues and books accompanying the exhibitions, design pieces and other souvenirs are available from the museum shop. Café Focke's with its open-air courtyard serves refreshments and food.
