It is one of the public buildings of the XVIII century that still remain in the city. It is located in the right margin of the Barranco de Santos. The front of the building is one of the finest examples of neoclassical architecture in the Canary Islands. Today this building houses the Museum of Nature and Man, that in its turn comprises three different area museum: Archaelogical Museum, Bioanthropology Museum, Natural Sciences Museum.
