Group of Turin trendsters opened Societe Lutece and it's one of Rome's hippest bars - boho, cool, and art-school rather than dressed-up and glitzy - like their other venture in Trastevere, Freni e Frizioni.

Well-mixed cocktails, a small but good selection of wines by the glass, a large aperitivo buffet, and a decidedly relaxed vibe make this a great place to kill a couple of hours.

Societe Lutece is known as Rome's bohemian meeting place. Although located in the central part of Rome, just a short walk from Piazza Navona and Campo di Fiori, this bar is one you may have a hard time finding even if you've been there before. It's a great place to grab a drink and a bite to eat.
