Cuba is a long and narrow island located on the Gulf of Mexico, on the south west of Bahamas, north of Jamaica and south of Florida. The country is mostly flat, but has also some mountain ranges. On the Western Cuba you will find the vibrant capital city of Havana, as well the incredible province of Pinar del Rio. The coastline offers great and remote scuba diving spots. There are also some well known all inclusive resorts like Varadero, on the North.
BEST TIME TO VISIT
The best time to visit Cuba is from November to April, avoiding the storm and hurricane season and the muggy heat of the Cuban summer.
HOW TO GET THERE
Jose Martí International Airport outside Havana is the main gateway to the country. From here you can take connecting flights to other major cities in the country.
An official taxi to Havana centre costs is about 25 CUC. There is also a bus service from the Terminal One that travels to La Habana centre.
