Malá Strana is a district of the city of Prague, Czech Republic, and one of its most historic regions.
The most crowded areas are the Mostecká and Nerudova streets with lots of tourist stepping up on their "Royal Way" to the Castle.
The name translated into English literally means "Little Side", though it is frequently referred to as "Lesser Town", "Lesser Quarter", or "Lesser Side".
This quarter offers picturesque walking in the narrow streets, but most tourists limit their visit of the Lesser Quarter to Mostecká and Nerudova street when climbing up from Charles Bridge to the Prague Castle.
