The CCCB (Centre de Cultura Contemporânia de Barcelona) in the Raval district is the largest cultural centre in Spain and hosts an extensive and varied programme of cultural events including film, dance, music and literary festivals.

It also stages flamenco events.
The Parc de la Ciutadella is Barcelona's most central park. The park includes a zoo, a lake, a large fountain and several museums. The Catalan Parliament is seated at a building in the center of the park.
