The Victa is a Heitor de Melo project and the head Nuno Maia, who decided to have only cooked the wood : oven, grill and hob . Everything works with firewood only - there is not even an alternative.
In Douro Marina, the bar and restaurant Victa occupies a glass building overlooking the river. On the ground floor is the bar and a terrace on top is the open kitchen and the dining room. Comfortable chairs , cozy decor.
The Victa restaurant serves traditional Portuguese cuisine , reinvented by the chef Nuno Maia, with very original proposals.
On the menu has other delights such as cod with bread or "Our Duck Rice " , who join the crispy pork belly , the heart of rump and franganito field . The fish are varied and " are always fresh ; the day". What the sea give is what is in Victa list.
Every day at lunch , the Victa has an executive menu with a meat dish and one fish to choose from. Menu: 12 € to 15 € . If you prefer to eat at the counter , you can sample Portuguese cuisine and see part of the confection and plating . You can also grab a snack , drink a glass of wine, or a gin cocktail on the terrace of Victa.
